Drivers door switchs do get the most use and abuse.

 

I would go ahead and replace all...the motor, regulator, and the switch. That way that it is all done and you will never have to worry about it again. My pass. window in my Mustang went down and didn't come up so I replace all of the things I mentioned above and it is perfect now. Replace it all once with the door panel is off and be done with it. Just my .02!!!

 

just because i can get GM parts at cost does not mean im gonna pay for all of them if i dont need them.
the motor at COST is 104.06 bucks!!

don't just start throwing parts at it. You won't learn anything from this. You will throw away alot of money. What if its something as simple.

 

its a GM...its never simple

 

take ur door panel off- and tap your window motor with a hammer (honest) if it then goes up, you have a bad window motor.

 

I feel better about myself now...
