Painting rims, help ASAP

did you paint strip the wheels? if you did, you shouldve just scuffed the old paint and painted over it with black..

ok i cant get the camera to work or my camera phone. I will get picks asap...Sorry. No i didnt paint strip the wheels, I cleaned them real good then just painted them.

I think all the clear coats are the same.. and i think the reason why its coming out rough is because of the way youre painting. Are you spraying on thick coats?

there somewhat thick, but I dont wanna get runs. Its coming out rough because the rim has a slight texture to it and i didnt notice that untill after i started painting.

I did the back rims today.. After studying the front rims, I realized they were so dull and textured because of the over spray! I just laid them on the ground when i painted them so the over spray was just floating all over the place, So today i stood the rims up and put a fan right behind them blowing out so that it would suck all the over spray, and they came out 100 times better... then i had it out to dry and a dumb neighbore comes through the fence and nocks one of the rims over so its messed up. But needless to say, i got them looking WAY better
