I finally found a material!!
hahaha.. Well if you haven't known my truck has been broken in several times. The weakpoints they have always got through were the windows. So I researched it to find out how to make that stronger. Nobody locally knows about it.
But the material I found was Lightweight Transparent Armor (LTA) is standard 5/32 auto glass backed with thin layers of polycarbonate that are bonded to the
inside of the vehicle glass with polyurethane bonding interlayers.
soo next thing i'm going to price it and do it. Finds out I don't have to modify anything just put them in the same slots.

and yes my damn truck is like a thieft magnet. Four times. And it was one time in my neighborhood. Once in miami hotel parking lot, next was downtown tampa in the daytime, next was at hops on dale mabry (the one that used to be). the last was at my place.
Leave your windows down, then nobody will break in.
Any "film" won't be effective to keep someone out of your car. They're STILL going to break the window. You'll STILL have to replace it. And they'll STILL get in your car. Except they'll be pissed because it took more work than expected.
On a side note. Coworker locked her keys in her car.
She broke a window to get in, rather than calling for a locksmith.
