isn't that 3M window laminate that's advertised for hurricane protection basically the same stuff, just thinner and a whole lot cheaper than ballistic laminate armor? i'm thinking two or three coats of the cheap stuff would be enough to deter thieves. even one layer might do the job.

best part is, the film isnt like rock hard ro anything.. its flexible to a certain extent.. it'll prolly just hold all the glass bits together on a window that small.. just leave your doors unlocked..

L)it might not be legal to do that on a civi vehicle b/c of potential for crash related accidents... what if you get into an accident, and they cant get in the vehicle to save you.. not talking bridges... talking some asshole running a red light and T boning you
