I don't see anyone bashing Supras here. The only "bashing" is the exageration of calling an 8-second car - any 8-second car a "daily driver."

lol chuck, my bad! it totally didnt register that you have an RT/10. i just saw "RT" and automatically thought Dakota RT.
i retract my previous statement due to lack of comprehension. btw, i wasnt the one who determined that these 8-second cars are daily drivers. the owners are the ones who drive them on a regular basis and purport that they are daily driven. i just quote them. so if they arent really daily drivers, that would be on them.
Mylt... if you knew anyting about supras, youd know the real statistics. you should do yourself a favor and avoid constipation by cutting down on your diet of shoe leather. here is the list of 98 of the top 100 MKIV times. if you notice, only about 15-20 of the cars are Domestic trannied, the rest are on stock equipment... so i highly recommend you adjust your shit.

dude, Altezzas own. and the MKIV was sporting "Euro style" tail lights way before the Altezza RS200 ever came out. the only difference is that the MKIV had slate gray background and not gaudy ass chrome.
and honestly, a powerglide is less streetable than a TH400...and thats why some of the fastest MKIV's use a prepped TH400 with a Sound Performance adaptor and torque converter. i had a 454 TH400 1978 K3500 dually, and that was streetable. my Trans am has a TH350, its streetable. only have 2 or 3 forward gears is not detrimental. they are streetable/street driven and do get driven More than 3 miles a week. a "Street Driven" race car that is BARELY legal with lights, horn, plate and nothing else is only driven down the pits, to the staging lane and down the track. youd be lucky to see 5 miles a week, IF You campaign it every weekend. these cars see as many miles as anybody else's "Daily Driver". id say 4-5 days of driving out of the week easily classifies it as a Daily... shit anything MORE than just driving in the pits and down the track could be a Daily.
btw, 2 of the top 15 are 6sp cars... so not ALL of the 15-20 fastest cars on SF are Autos.

I like the one about the guy with the 99 GSX with nothing but a CAI.. car had 25K miles on it, mistu refused to warrenty the REAR-END !!! Dealership said it was b/c the CAI made the motor generate more power than the rear-end could handle, hehe...
Supra is a better investment... AND TARGA TOP !!!
BPU supra with DRs is a low-mid 12 sec car for 20 years... A EVO is a is only going to run low-mid 12's for so long ( not to meantion a new clutch every year ).
