anybody have any articles on A/C intercooling, glycol water intercooling, and other methods of intercooling. I'm not trying to do any of these, I would just like to get some intresting reading.

thoughs types intercooling are cool but hard to install !
yoou need a water pump and a water cooler like a oil cooler type
but they take up less space and they are better than air typ because they have the same cooling as the airtype but with less space!!

look it up on the net iv'e seen kits for miata's and mustangs

a friend of mine swears he used to run A/C in place of water to cool the turbo center sections in turbo diesels, which if true would significantly drop air temps to S/C levels(maybe lower) before it even got to the intercooler, I have been debating trying this myself since right now my turbo isnt even water cooled, its a thought anyway

Besides that you want the hot side of the turbo to be as hot as possible....

hey, I'm rather skeptical myself, I think the idea behind it is is to cool the center section down enough to reduce heat transfer to the intake side of the turbo(since I dont think its really gonna cool the exhaust side anyway)1400 degrees isnt gonna be cooled by a bit of A/C but just because you have never heard of it is no reason to call it stupid, it may very well work for all I know, its not like it could hurt anything to try(A/C really isnt all that cold, what? 40 degrees at best?)
