ok well a police chief came to our work today (military) an gave some briefing bout safety an shit yada yada... well end of the briefing i went up to him an ask bout the modified exhaust an how all my friends were gettin tickets jsut drivin normal an all... he said fight it an only way they can win is if they had a db reading of it...(wich they have to show u) oh an btw there is only a few that carry them in tampa (db meters) hint hint... he said its highly unlikely they have it on them... so my advice to u people gettin tickets.... fight it

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

yeah, the law doesnt have anything to do w/the db reading. after i got a ticket for my exhaust i looked up the statute online and it says anything not stock is illegal.

QTP sucks balls, DMH perfromance is soooo much better.
it even says in the quicktime instructions that "should the plate start to leak or not seal properly, put some grease, such as axle greaseon the butterfly" how can this be if they dont leak?
DMH performance is a lifetime gaurantee against anything wrong, i broke mine 5 times on my own, by screwing it up, and dave sent me 5 new ones, on his tab!
and yes any exhuast other than stock is illegal, so i just choose to not run one at all, save myself the 500.oo dollar exhaust and pay multiple 50 dollar tickets!!!!!!

Nowhere in here does it say anything other than stock exhaust is illegal. If this were true, this would mean anyone who replaces an aged OEM muffler with a non OEM system at one of those shit exhaust shops (i.e. Mieneke or Auto Air Brake Muffler City) would be breaking the law.
This is a state statute straight from www.flsenate.gov .
316.272 Exhaust systems, prevention of noise.--
(1) Every motor vehicle shall at all times be equipped with an exhaust system in good working order and in constant operation, including muffler, manifold pipe, and tailpiping to prevent excessive or unusual noise. In no event shall an exhaust system allow noise at a level which exceeds a maximum decibel level to be established by regulation of the Department of Environmental Protection as provided in s. 403.061(13) in cooperation with the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. No person shall use a muffler cutout, bypass or similar device upon a vehicle on a highway.
(2) The engine and power mechanism of every motor vehicle shall be so equipped and adjusted as to prevent the escape of excessive fumes or smoke.
(3) A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a nonmoving violation as provided in chapter 318.
