anyways, i hope this rebuild turns out alright... and i hope you told charlie to NOT engrave his Tag into the compressor back plate like me and mark specifically warned you against. if this rebuild craps out in 2000 miles, ill be saying "i told you so" when you should have contacted Fordified's turbo builder in Lakeland.

you have have some type of problem with charlie, take it up with him in person rather than say shit from behind your PC at home ( i am willing to bet you are too much of a pussy to)

charlie has rebuilt 3 turbos for me and I was completely happy. One of the turbos is still goin strong after almost 4 years.

i WOULD complain to charlie by all means if i had a turbo that had blown oil seals a month later, or had shaft end-play in excess of 8mm. ive seen 4 turbos, CT26's specifically, that charlie has had his hands on and have failed in one way or another;

Bucsfanatic 60-1 upgrade has leaky oil seals
Seminolesupra91 rebuild has failed thrust bearing on one and leaky oil seals on another.
the oldest one of these four turbos is probably 4 months old. but thanks for defending him, its only natural. im not hating on him, just the fact that more than ONE CT26 turbo that has been in his hands has failed. there is no law against stating the facts. im not making shit up here, its the truth. ive seen all of these turbos in question and have seen the CMR initials in the back plate. but seeing as how im not the Owner of these turbos, its not My place to take up the issue w/ charlie. if these WERE my turbos, youd better beleive id be on the phone w/ him trying to rectify this issue.

why talk about others that might have had trouble, who knows if they caused the troubles themselves? bad thrust bearings is normaly from way over boosting...but like you said, i don;'t think you have any room to make assesments on someone elses turbos without know for a fact what caused the failures (not REPLACING the oil supply line is one of the bigest things people can't get in thier heads to REPLACE...NOT clean) not saying that is the case of any of these, just stating the facts, i lost repect for you aswell, but who cares, right?
