Default Casual swap question

Although I could not possibly amass the amount of money required to do any form of engine swap at this age, for the past several hours I've played with the idea in my head and done research to no avail. So I present my question here. Simply put I'd like to take some form of inline six cylinder engine and cram it into as tiny a car as possible. I'm wondering if those of you who have done this, known someone that has done this, or have information on what has been done, could tell me what you know. I'm looking to see what type of engine was used, and what type of car was used, as well as the amount of money they spent on such a project. Thanks.

What's wrong with just getting a car with a inline 6 to begin with? The Datsun is a lot of fun, though it's a 2-seater so not very practical.
