Is the 1st shop paying for the damages, or do you just not want them to touch the car again?

i dont understand how you can put a manifold on wrong the header bolts wouldnt line up if it was. sounds to me like it didnt fit properly in the first place.

a fly cutter can clean that up really good. I did a turbo manifold one time. It was just two inlet holes.

the manifold wasn’t cut right on 1 of the corners of the manifold and when the 1st shop put the manifold on it was obvious that it needed to be trimmed up some ...

machine, planeing, or milling he needs it shaved down so it will be a perfectly flat surface so it will bolt up to the head flush

Yeah the manifold needed to be trimmed a little bit, the gap between the block and manifold was about 3/8's of an inch, it was pretty obvious that it wasnt right. but owell, the only place he knows of is off fletcher somewhere, are there closer ones to waters and sheldon?

yea milling would definitly be the way to do it. It isn't that hard to mill it. The problem that you would face that would be the most difficult is how to mount it. From what I thinking it is a 4 cylinder manifold so it has some funky twists in it and everything. That is the problem you would have. The cutting is not difficult.

and if you get it done by a machine shop make sure they prove to you with a dial test indicator it is flat say within .001"
