http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes....mo&model=HTR+Z 245/40ZR17 $79 !!!!
These are the sumitomo HTR-Z which is a very good performance tire that is pretty sticky too and should easily last longer than 10,000 miles. I purchased a set for my mustang gt years ago, then my 1989 Iroc which ran high 12's and these tires would barley spin from a dig on a nice street blacktop. I purchased a rear set for my buddy's 1995 LT1 camaro and he was in the mid 13's and would not spin at all from a dig. I highly recommend these tires to anyone for the street. 160 treadwear is pretty sticky and that's what these tires have.

Excellent tire. Won't last you very long if daily driven on the street. Dangerous if you don't know how to drive on them in rain. My next tires will be either Azenis or Kumho MXs. The Kumho's are excellent also. Try researching those too.

340 just means that tire will last twice as long as a kumho tire with a treadwear of 170
I have Azenis rt215's on the 240. They were great at Sebring. I've heard some people say that they get greasy, but i didn't experience that. They are a great all around every day street tire. The rt215's seem to be on backorder...everywhere. You may want to go with the rt615.... it's the next generation of the 215.

Yokohama ES100's aren't super sticky autocross tires or bendy sidewall drag radials, but they grip pretty well for the price and they last a long time. A friend of mine has been trying to kill his ES100's without resorting to burnouts for about a year now with no success.
