how much are you paying? a good friend of mine has a lot of experience with those cars, I asked him what he thought and he advised against unless you're paying less than $20k. he says '95-'97 were the good years.

The 1991 and some of the 1992 NSX's have a transmission problem which stems from the snap ring. Mine fell into this category and cost me $2,000 to fix. The problem causes the car's shifter to wiggle around and pop out of gear (very annoying). For more info see www.nsxprime.com. Is it like a one time problem , it breaks you fix or a occuring problem where it will happen and then 30,000 miles later i might have the same problem ?

Default Nsx

I have a '92 Kaiser Silver in my shop now. Customer mentioned he may sell it.
We just did the 30K service and it is pretty clean. I also stock aftermarket parts for the NSX, if you should need something.

I specialize in NSX and S2K's call me and we can chat.

Sorry to hear about the problems. They are tricky to work on and kinda' expensive. The later models are better ('95-up), Honda addressed some issues.

I call mine "The Poor Mans Ferrari".

Hello midorigreen - there is nothing wrong with an S. With a little suspension and motor it will hang with the X. I have been working on Primogen's S2000 from the S2KI forum, and it will hang with me up to 100mph. And my X is not stock.

Primogen had Michael Andretti in his S at the SPGP during the parade lap.
Michael & Marco Andretti signed his Honda banner and it will be on display at the shop.
That lucky bastard.

Hey Todd,

Yeah I did see that Primogen was lucky enough to have Michael Andretti ride with him in his car. I would have rather had Kelly Hu though

The S2000 is a lovely car, and im sure it does have the potential to hang with the nsx but just the way the nsx looks is amazing. Ive never riden in one but im sure hearing vtec from behind your head must be awesome.
