illegal here on a black Z, dark as hell, but the t-tops without the covers let a little light in so it doesnt look that dark in the day. but at night, its hella dark, but i just roll the windows down when i get pulled over. never had a cop say anything about it.

 

You guys are making me feel alot better about it. What will suck is that first week having it done and not being able to roll the windows down.

 

i got pulled over once for something, so i put my windows down so the cop didnt see see my tint. but i still got a ticket for the front tint strip. the front cant be past the as1 line, and if theres no as1 line like on my car, then it can only take up 15% of the window, which isnt very much in most cases. i wouldnt go darker than 15% all the way around if i were you. and if you get pulled over, just put your windows down.

 

Well I really want it so you can't see in the sides. That way I hopefully won't have to worry so much about the monitors on up front while I am driving (already got one ticket )

 

I never had any problems either i had like 5% tint on may old caddy never stoped good luck if you go for it

 

i see so many family cars and suv's with limo i dont think they really bother anymore unless your at clearwater beach or somewhere else where the cops can be really anal

 

I used to have limo on my old mustang, my mom was driving it to pick me up (about 2 weeks before i got my lisence) and a black cop on a bike pulled her over and gave a ticket for the tint and for an illigal visor strip. they were 11 dollars each if corrected or like 70 + 2 points if not corrected

 

Have 15 all the way around on a civc for the last 2 years and no problems.

 

At night they're still going to see the monitors.

 

You sure? I thought they might but I also thought that with limo tint you can't see anything at all inside. Think they're still going to be able to tell whats on them? Because my display for my radio is on my monitor so it can be on/open just can't show a video.
