GT500, the C6 Z06 kinda has a "starved" look to it. Don't know what it is about the Z06 but the GT500 is drop dead gorgeous.Not to mention price which is going to be a factor regardless of what anyone says.

Every new car that comes out is just an advancement on the previous model. The new z06 is just another c6.
The GT500 differs a lot more from "just another mustang" than the c6-z06 does from a regular c6, but you don't hear people bitching about it.

z06 also differs from a c6 in many ways, other than the body the two cars are not the same, much like the gt500 compared to the reg GT.
I would choose a z06 cause in the end its a lighter car with more power and displacement than the GT500, it will always have this advantage over the mustang, yes a chip and a pulley is cheap but as said above is a cheap ass gonna be buying a z06? It might be more expensive but the z06 can be modded to and because of the bigger cubes will always have a better foundation to build upon.
don't get me wrong I love the gt500 and I may buy one but the z06 is in a different class.
