Yep, the z06 would probably do much better in the curves, but didn't Ford just win a race (it's class) with the new 05? Thought it was held over in Daytona..
They just need a little more work to turn as good, but it can be done..

 

Yeah, it was the Mustang Gran Prix. A field of 37 Mustangs and one of them won.

Dunno about Daytona Derek, just being a wiseass.

I also don't know why Mustang isn't a more visible force in GT World Challenge. Weight maybe? Dunno. I had some fun tearing up a parking lot in a 2000 Mustang but I've never tracked one. Seems the ones I see at the track have some problems in the turns. I'd like to take one around Sebring for a few laps.

I would figure with it tuned right, the power and an IRS would help with the handling problems.. I've never driven one with an IRS, but would like to see how it did one day.. Of course my new project is a "little" different than most have on here anyway..
