also, people who mod their srt's sell there stock parts(usually cheap). 04 srt and 1st gen neon parts can easily work together.i got my manifold, turbo, wastegate/bov, downpipe, cat, injectors, fuel rail, heatshields, oil/coolant lines, boost gauge, hot/cold intercooler pipes for $350 from someone local who upgraded his car. i bought a fuel system and useless a/f gauge and intercooler online, plus i still need pipes but in total a full turbo kit for about $700. it is cheap to turbo 1st gen neons as long as you have the dohc motor.

yah i was there. that traffic really sucked they need to widen that road, i had to take all the backroads to get out. but any nice beach is like that during spring break. there were so many hot girls, too bad i was with my girlfriend

 

a "built" type R with those mods should make over 200 whp at LEAST, and a good tuner could probably get 210-220 whp if they are decent cams. an integra is about 2600 lbs to an srt being near 3000 lbs. i know srt's have about 230 ish whp from the factory, but a type R, especially with its short gears, SHOULD beat a STOCK srt.

 

a friend of mine keeps snapping axles on his 2003 SRT4, they are under warranty. but he has the car for a week and then they break again! anyone know who sells heavy duty axles for these???

YOu are correct, about the 200whp... his car is real close to that. 188 hp. he just got new cams, so after he tunes it, we'll see how much he makes. 188 hp after 4 or so hours tuning, and I made 2 rund on the dyno and out out just under 230. Where we kill Hondas/Acuras is tourque. He put down 125lbs/ft, and I put down 240lbs/ft. I'm not goign to lie and say that I killed him on the street, I only pulled him by like 3 or 4 cars, but at the track, from a dig.... It was easy.
