I wish I could get financed for it because I would get one in a second. Definitely the 6 is already the best looking sports sedan out IMO but FWD(gay). Now this one looks to be challenging the WRX crowd. Basic specs:

20/26mpg

Now if they had gone with a turbo version of their V6 they would have been able to get some more power but with these numbers I'm expecting to get into the 13s bone stock.

They are AWD it even says it in the specs you posted GENIOUS!

 

Sounds nice... Too bad it isn't the V6. If I had the money I would so get one, I love the styling of the 6's and AWD + Turbo hotness = SEX.

Mazda is targeting the car towards competing with the Legacy...not the "tuner" cars like the WRX or Evo.

 

If you would read his whole post he explains that while the Mazda 6 is the best looking sports sedan(in his opinion), its gay because its fwd. He is excited however, because the new Mazdaspeed 6 is awd, and has numbers comparable to a WRX. No need to thank me for the explanation, its my pleasure.

 

I own a 2004 Mazda 6s (V6 5spd Hatch). The car looks awesome, but has a few 'quality' issues that I am dissapointed with. Other than that, it is the best looking Family 4 door on the market!

Should be a decent car, def not a tuner car like Alan said. From what I read on some Mazda forums a few months ago, the drivetrain will be fairly weak.

 

The Mazdaspeed 6 will will be, I'm sure, like the other Mazdaspeed products.

Turn up the boost a few psi and whoops, no more engine.
