Chevy is going to have to offer some rediculous rebates to get me, or anyone with half a brain into one of these. Interior is waay better than before, ride is fine, 4x4 is a bit rough but thats cool with me, the I5 gives it enough grunt, but nothing spectacular.

27k for a 4x4 quad cab? with no towing package? and not even a recovery hook in the front? Fuck that. After the troubles the 04's were plagued with, and chevys determination to stick with dex-cool, its hard not to look at an 05 frontier or tacoma, which are cheaper and much more powerful.

 

they should through that i6 from the trailblazer 275 hp would be nice!! but I like the s10 look better.

 

Look into the Dakotas? Dodge has some ridiculous incentives and generally more warranty than the domestic competition.

I like that they're entering the performance sport compact market, the c6, gto(tho some disagree with me), and return of camaro in '07.

but the rest is kinda lacking IMO.

Cadallic is definatly kicking ass lately in the performance area and looks

 

doesnt really do anything for me I know the warranty is better than most but optioned out (on the website) is 25,5 for what I'd like. But the colorado and dakota dont have console shifters Column shifters blow.

Frontier = 24,5 similarly equipped
tacoma = 28 with trd package

 

I would go with either the Frontier or the Tacoma.

 

I really like the looks of the colorado. Now only if it had the Ls6 in it to compete with the lighting

My die hard Chevy friend, sandbag on here, just went truck shopping. He's been gung-ho Chevy for years, so of course he test drove Chevy trucks. He was so disappointed with Chevy's new line of trucks that's driving a Ford F350 Super Duty now! Chevy is really fucking up lately!
