Really simple you guys...regular Neon or 3OOOGT SL...NO SRT-4s or VR-4s. Just barebones crap.

3OOOGT. Neon --> SRT-4 is completly different...different tranny different engine, everything is different (and better). SL --> VR-4, same engine, probably tranny, same body, lighter because its FWD instead... 3000GT is far greater

Power
Neon = crap
SL = crap

Interior quality
Neon = crap
SL = not bad

Looks
Neon = crap
SL = good

Space
Neon = ok
SL = ok

Relibility
Neon = super crap
SL = crap


The SL is the clear winner here....

I spent $5000 on my 3000gt to buy it and $400 on mods and picked up a 14.9. Spend $500 on mods on a neon and see what you get. IMO my 3000gt wasnt a piece of shit, i mean it is a dsm but i put the car through hell and still with 140000 miles it runs like a beast.
