they actually had a item like that at the Taka Kaira website a long time ago. I guess it didnt sell in Japan so they thought maybe americans would buy the Idea

no... do you know how old that thing is?
that has been advertised in the JC Whitney catalog for YEARS... possibly even decades. the whole goal of JC whitney was to get people better gas mileage and economy back in the day, i guess like around the 2nd energy crisis. i think this schwas right next to the oil filter magnet/cooler gimmick and the spark plugs that fire even submersed in oil.

in my line of work we have competitors that have the magnets for marine diesel fuels. claims they get rid of the algea by magnetically breaking up the molecules so small that they can go through the injectors without a problem. I cant help but laugh at them. but some yacht owners fall for it.oh well.
