anytime you can get more and cooler air to the motor is always a plus, better throttle response is the main thing I've always noticed.

Yeah, intakes make the most WHOOSH at the end of the downpipe. I'm thinking about adding a few in my crankcase, too. It doesn't matter where they go, as long as they're in the car, they're 10 hp a piece!
