Cobra's are awesome for the price however...I think I myself would prefer an STi or an Evo, even if they are not as quick at the strip.

I just think the type of driver I am, I would enjoy the other two more. But they are all great cars.

Got to agree with the STi being on par with the Cobra. I would own one if I had the money. They look like fun little cars. Then again, how much more could you do to them without tearing into the motor or breaking the drivetrain?
NitrousPete added an automatic, Kenny Bell blower, fuel system, exhaust system, and a shot of nitrous and slaps almost 900 to the ground. Others have done similer (without nitrous) and put almost 800 to the ground and have them as daily drivers. I just don't see a 4 banger doing that. No replacement for displacement.
All things considered, I honestly think the new Cobras are the best bang for the buck and have the greatest amount of potential out of any factory car right now. That will change soon enough, but honors go to Ford for now.

03-04 cobra > all factory cars (as of right now) potential wise they have much more then an EVO or an STI

And yes someone mentioned an SRT-4 but from a dig lets face it unless i have slicks on my car an EVO or an STI has the advantage...but from a roll thats a different story! Now a corba from a dig or a roll will own the evo or sti and as stated earlier in the thread 3 mods and you have 450 whp cant beat that!

If I had mad cash I would buy me a 04 Mustang Cobra then smash into a wall going too fast because I only drive slow 4 cylinder cars
