Post need body shop

Hey everyone, I'm new to this board and am in desperate need of help. I was recently in an accident where the person who hit me, also at fault, has no insurance. I do not have full coverage and my insurance company will not help at all. I am going to pursue the girl that hit me in court but in the meantime, I need to get my car running again. Basically, I'm looking for a decent shop that can help me out given my financial situation. I'm a student with very little money to spare until my next financial aid check and/or restitution from the court process. I drive a 95' Nissan Altima and the damage was done to just the front end. I put a link below so you can view pictures of the damage. Any info or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris

I read that thread before I posted and didn't find any useful information on there unless I just want to get it painted. I'm looking for a shop that can help me out financially. I'm not looking for any freebies, just someone that can work out a payment plan with me. Here's a picture of what I'm looking at getting fixed.

Exactly what coverages do you have? No collision = you being SOL. This is probably the case, which would be the reason why your insurance company won't pay.

Probably isn't even worth going after the other party. In FL you cannot go after their first home or car. You could end up garnishing wages, but knowing that the person didn't have insurance probably means they don't earn much money.

So basically you'd waste all the money you could have used to fix your car on a lawyer and you'll get shit in return and be no better off (or possibly worse) than you are right now.

Plus judging from the damage the accident will be ruled with the higher percentage of negligence going to you (front end damage in an intersection means you didn't yield to traffic)...so going to court won't even pay close to the total damages to your car.

As John said get a small personal loan to fix the car and just be happy you weren't hurt in the accident.

thats what i figured it would amount to. and yes, being a broke college student w/ no credit card, no credit history, or transportation, i was dead serious! the girl who hit me was driving a beater 88' camry so i'd assume she doesn't have any money to throw around. there was and still is one possibility though..when the report comes out, it's possible that the car is registered under her parents name in which case i can go after their insurance carrier on the parents themselves. other than that, i'm pretty much "SOL". BUT, if anyone does know someone who will take a deposit or hold on to the title until its paid for, please let me know.

You're going to have a better chance just getting a new car on payments than fixing that.
