Alan, I understand what your saying. But at the same time, If I survived some extinction level event and was left on earth all alone, I would go and bring a bunch of lambos, ferrari's Carrera GT's, Mclarens to the track and drive them around. Obviously not to impress anyone, just because I love the cars. Every piece of material from the leather on the seats to the carbon fiber on the frame was made to be as perfect as possible, to make as perfect a car as possible. To not respect a car like that makes me question just what kinda car person you are

and now a GT2 - upsidedown...

Interesting discussion - As chuck said - drive one and you'll understand. In fact, drive one in their element and you will understand. A viper on the road is kind of a pig. Get one on the track and get on it in a curve and the whole thing lightens up quickly!

As far as driving your dream car - you guys that say - well I'll never own one of these xxxx cars - live your dreams - a late 80's Porsche was one of my dream cars - I even had a Turbo poster on my wall growing up - and now I drive one. I'll have a modded Turbo at some point too. It's all relative...

LOL you bastage.

But I know what you mean. It's like those upscale Volkswagons you drive really start feeling like a race car on a track.

Come on Jeremy, what are you waiting for. Make the 930 or 993TT plunge.

Exactly. I grew up with my mother and father owning American muscle (mostly MOPAR, but grew into Mustang's in the late 80's). My vision of a dream car was, and still is, something with a Ford, Chevy, or Dodge emblem on the trunk lid and a nasty V8 under the hood. This is why I'd take a modified Mustang over a Porsche or some other exotic. While I do realize these exotics are wonderful machines, I prefer to seek the same speed/agility through other means more closely correlated to my childhood dream cars. Which probably explains why I have a shell of a Mustang sitting in my driveway.

LOL, I'm sure anyone who owns a high dollar sports car is impressed by you either.
