Yeah but even if you raise the power. I heard those transmissions don't like it much.

If the guy has the money to buy and mod a car like that, I would hope he can afford to break the tranny.

Were you just spectating Al or were you moonlighting?

Honestly, I really don't like saying this, but I would have expected it to be way more and that's not a "bad" price for what it is.

I was thinking the same thing actually. For the amount of engineering the car has..and the onboard systems, the power, the safety..its damn near worth it. If I was rich this would be my daily driver.

180k is a bargain for that kinda power.

i was thinking high 11's at 120 or so.

Saw the SL600 do a few runs at Desoto and was putting in solid 11.6-11.7 everytime with a trap of 121.xx-123.xx. I don't know if it was stock but it had the temp tag still on it and it had 800 someodd miles on it. The track was empty when he was running so his runs were like 8 in a row with nearly no waiting.

I really dont know. It has active traction control and the wheel spin/traction/engine output/boost control is all calculated at lightning speed. Basically you just mash the pedal to the floor and the car will put down all available power possible on whatever surface you are on. As mph goes up and traction is less an issue the power comes on very very hard.

It does however weigh like 4500 lbs. I would think the Times Tampamax said would be similar. High 11s at 120+ easy....but who really knows. The one on the dyno had like 350 miles on it.
