I have some real old school stuff. Before digi cams. I need a scanner.

Remember eagle alloys? Deep dish rims?

Good stuff.

American Racing rims...back when they were like the only thing out.

Full face racing style, no spokes or holes, like 15x8....

mounted on a dark green super bee with a built hemi.

or a charger, or a 57 bel air that loved to explode trannys from all the torque...

wait i must be living through my dad. at least i got to see one of the aboves before they were sold.

Sittin' around the apartment today being all thankful and all, i started looking through some old pictures and stuff - ill post some!!

Happy Thanksgiving all!!
umm... IMPORT race and show scene - not to disrespect the the muscle car and hot rod era guys, but i see the old school every friday and saturday night at the local cruise in. real old school for the import scene was late 80s early 90s - i was just hoping to get someone to post some pics up of this time - I couldnt drive yet so the furthest i go back is mid 90s (which is somewhat old school in relation to the slow track times of all the pro cars). Anyway post up some pics of those old school celicas with old school carb setup - how bout a 510 or 280? where the datsuns at? individual throttle bodies? nitrous? back in the day when there was nothing to do but build your motor and put it on the bottle... again guys no disrespect to the hot rod and muscle car scene (im a fan too - my first car was a 67 fleetside chevy pickup with a .40 over small block transplant from a camaro - still fuel injected - whoo hoo!!)
anway post em if you got em

That's funny, if this is at Moroso (it looks like it), I'm just out of the picture to the right, I remember that pretty clearly. I don't know if I'd be so quick to call late 90's old school though, it's only 2004

Agreed. The import scene is pretty young though, especially compared to the domestics. Don't forget Prime 5-stars. Everyone had those in the mid 90's.

To go "really" old school, my boss had a black 85 Supra with Enkie "92's", black with deep polished lip. This was actually in 1985! That car would still be cool today.

My dad had staggered wheels and a header on his 71 Corolla. That was 30 years ago. Mom had a 71 Datsun 510 wagon, but it was stock.
