What are some pros and cons of running solid motor mounts?

Yea, the car already shakes like a bitch with the motor wobbling around from the cam on what use to be motor mounts...

I guess I should just eat the cost and go with energy suspension polyurethane mounts.

Or something like these ... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=50454

I wouldnt run solid motor mounts on a street car. You can get "almost" solid mounts that would work much better in a street situation.

I couldn't imagine solid mounts on a daily driven street car. Great for a daily driver if you don't like your dental fillings and love to piss every 5-minutes.

Definately go with the ES units. Those Ebay units sound nice, but I am personally skeptical about any Ebay product claiming to be "the same but better"' than a competitor...particularly when that competitor already offers a great product for a decent price.

Wait, then what would be the advantage of liquid ones? The opposite? Just wondering, I'm pretty sure 89+ Mk3s had liquid

The advantage of liquid ones would be exactly opposite of the advantage of solid ones.
