That's the problem. I drive this car just about everyday.

I can get a pair of new moroso solid mounts for $30 or some ES poly mounts for $120. I want to make sure that solid wouldn't be too bad, but it seems as though they are.

Maybe I should just get stock replacements? Or maybe ones from a 93 vert?

Solid you run risk of damaging your tranny. Would go with poly, you restrick the movement, but still retain some vibration, but not as much as the solid. I had a friend blow his torque converter after going solid.

i can guarantee you his torque converter going had absolutely nothing to do with the solid mounts.

I had the es kit in my 200sx. While it was no v8 with a lopey cam, I could still feel more vibrations in the car. Throttle response was now unbelievable and instant. I got used to the vibration as it was not too bad and most people who rode in my car never noticed the extra vibration. so i liked my es kit.

one more thing i forgot to add, You can make your own solid mounts by using the stockers and filling them with window weld from discount autoparts. Just get a spare set of oe motor mounts and make your own and see if its bearable to you. the window weld will be a little stronger than the es kit if i remember correctly.

I never had bad vibration with solid motor mounts. Once I put in a solid tranny mount, I couldn't see anything in my rear view mirror I have been told (never, ever seen it, so no arguing ) that you can actually break the mounting point off your block using solid mounts, but like I said, I ran them with zero problems. Eventually I went to convertible motor mounts with a stock tranny mount and it was smooooooooth

That's the plan now .. 93 vert mounts and stock tranny mounts.
