I'll bet it still drives.

And as lame as the "gas sticking" excuse sounds, it's happened to me with a few Mustangs. It's even worse with an automatic especially when you have way more power than brakes. I recall nearly rearending quite a few cars.

I think that was actually a recall issue on some Sti's, iirc. Would have been simple to avoid though. Press clutch in, pull out of gear, hard on brakes/ebrake and steer.

Anyones first reaction should be the clutch/lower gear or least hard on the brakes, but I also do see what he means by "it happend so fast I didn't know what to do." That is understandable, he said he was at the top of third. That is pretty damn fast. Still Clutch/Lower Gear/Brakes!!

Ohh and that thing is definitely fucked up though.
