What page does it say that he's lying? I'm too lazy to read all 13 pages. I could have guessed though. Porsche 'turbo' logo, STi wing, STi sidemarkers, fake TE-37's.... Honestly, who debadges their trunk to put another manufacturer's enormous emblem on there?

Hopefully the person that buys mine isn't that dumb!

Sorry, but I'm going to call bull**** on your excuse, panache. For two reasons.

First off, in-gear acceleration from 20-80mph in 3rd gear, even in a modified WRX is going to take awhile. Let's say 3/10ths of a G on average (which is being generous). In that case, basic kinematic equations suggest that it would take you roughly 10 seconds to accelerate from 20 mph to 80 mph (like I said, I'm being pretty generous, considering how pitiful 3rd gear acceleration would be at 30mph, and considering the fact that you "stood on the brakes the entire time", as you claimed ). However, in that time you would have travelled almost 730 feet. To better visualize that, that's almost the length of two and a half football fields. Now just where was the corner you were trying to make in relation to this gentleman's house?

Second, I don't care what kind of work you've done to your car, if you had truly stood on the brakes as you claimed, you would have come to a stop. There are very, very few street-legal cars that can overpower their brakes (for a reason, obviously), and I'm doubting yours is one of them. Of course, that's assuming your brakes were in decent condition. If they weren't, then I'd still hold you responsible, because if you've got money to add go-fast parts to your car, then you've got money to perform routine maintenance and keep the car in a safe operating condition.

So, to sum up - your accelerator stuck, you accelerated for over an eighth of a mile, standing on your ineffectual brakes for the entire 10+ seconds that it took to accelerate this distance, and then you drove through this guy's house? Sounds a little fishy to me.

If I were you I'd be thankful no one was hurt, learn from the experience, take responsibility for your actions (there's a novel idea ), and stop driving like a jackass in residential neighborhoods. Either that, or attend some high speed driver's education and learn how to control a car properly.

My pedal has stuck on my stang once. Happened after I missed a gear, so it bounced the rev limiter for a few seconds before I could get it dislodged.
