Default HKS EVC V (boost controller help)

I dont know if anyone on the site has this EBC but I am having certain issues with it.

first the rundown of my setup with the EVC

Tial 38mm Wastegate

Ok so I triple checked my hose install, and it is all correct

So now My tial wastegate has a 7.25lb spring so with the boost controller off I SHOULD boost 7.25lbs. and IT did when I had it uninstalled. BUT now IT goes to 14lbs before I get fuel cut even with the EBC OFF, thats the first strange thing. SEcond strange thing is that the EVC has a warning mode which is suppose to lower you to stock boost if it overshoots, BUT it is overshooting by a lot, Im trying to set it to 10lbs which is .69bar, or 69kpa.

It seems like it will keep going ti l fuel cuts me off. It is set to the correct mode which is poppet style WG mode and all my settings seem to be correct. anyone that has the EVC or ever used one before can provide any help?

Thanks.
