Default Need Aluminum Driveshaft - Any Local Shops?

Hi all,

My center bearing is clunking and I want to replace it the right way Replace the 2pc heavy OEM unit w/ a lightweight 1pc version.

Please let me know if there any shops who can build/balance one for me (preferebly near MacDill AFB).

TIA,

Jesse

unfortunately, i dont know of one specifically... but call a 4WD/4x4 truck shop. any place that works with lifted trucks... lifted trucks or trucks with motor/tranny swapps need shortened/lengthend drive shafts... which means that they could probably build a one piece dealy for you... even if its steel, itll still be lighter and stronger than your stocker.

If it's for the 240, Enjuku makes them.

For future reference, http://www.dependabledriveshaft.com/ in Clearwater can suit our needs.

There is a place in Brandon off of 301, north of HWY 60 but South of MLK. I can't remember the name of the place, but they rebuilt my driveshaft for my old Triumph TR6 several years ago.
