since your car is already a gs, your engine is ready to be turbo'd, i think my engine (rs) will have to have cutom piping, and a whole bunch of upgrades. Me and my dad went shopping around for engines at Brandon Auto Salvage, and we noticed the different setup between the Rs and Gs engines.

ill just say it now, consider selling your car and buying a gs-t or a gsx. will probably save a lot of DSM headaches (which suck, btw)

edit: but don't think you'll get away with not having problems

The 1G's are the ones that the NT and the turbo had the same engine. For 2g's they NT's have their own engine and the turbo's have their own engine. The only difference between the RS and GS is cosmetics such as: side skirts, rear disk brakes, leather, etc. but they have the same engine.

oh yeah...i forgot about that..if you have a GS all you need to buy is the "-T" part. its pretty rare, though. you'll probly have to call up JdMpimPtYte Engine Importers and ask if they sell just the '-T'

good luck!

WTF are you talking about? The 2g GS-T and GSX have a Mitsubishi built 4G63T motor while the 2g RS and GS have a chrysler built 420A motor. They are completely different, it is not a matter of just get the T part you have to buy a whole different turbo kit w/ all the components.
