The greatest American cars ever produced
What does the power/liter ratio have to do with anything?
I only make 75hp/liter, but its still 600hp, so whats the difference?

Since its comming to this, I'm not sure what I'd take. No offense, but what I've seen Ford isnt too good with power to liter ratios, although I'm not saying the Ford GT isnt godlike. I'll obviously take either if free...but yeah...Ford GT would be a better choice if they were both free. However, if one would have to pay for them...different story.

not arguing at ALL on basis of performance, but those cars just don't even hold a candle to the styling of the italian, german, and british exotics.

If I could, I'd rather get power out of a smaller engine. Its just my thing. If it was all about the big ol 7-8L V8s... well wheres the fun? Wheres the gasmileage? What could you put it in? etc.etc.etc.

Doesnt Insanecivic only get around 12mpg? At only 350whp-ish?
I dont care what it is... as soon as you start moving more air to get big power your gonna get crappy(er) gas mileage. Its just part of the game. And who builds a performance car for gas mileage anyway?

HP per liter not good?
OK
My car has 4.6 liters and makes about 300 to the wheels. An LS1 is 5.7 and makes about 305-320 to the wheels, I'd say Ford is doing just fine in HP per liter.

bottom line is most of the V8 cars dont NEED to have agreat HP/Liter ratios.. hell they COULD .. but if a 4.6L mustang was making 120 HP /L it'd be like 552 HP .. oh wait.. quite a few 4.6L mustangs DO make that.. its all about efficiency..
Wow, thanks for my ass guys...talk about silver platter.
Yeah I got owned. At least I'm not an ass about it
Dont worry guys, I got a year long car course next year. Time to change my sig...
