I dont know myself...but I know you can put a 4G64 shortblock with a 4G63 head and have a DOHC 4G63 w/2.4L. Dont know what problems may come, nor if you'd really call it a "stroker kit"..

It also would probably depend on what engine it would be done to. I assume a 95 Integra

Maybe Honda Tech will know

I know they are worth it in my world. Does wonders for low end power with a big stroker kit.

It depends on the application. Ask in Honda Tech.

The only downside is that they often require a lot of block mods so the overstroked parts dont hit anything.

For example, right now our shop is building up a lingenfelter 427 small block kit for a vette. Lets just say that I had to do a lot of machining to fit 427 cubes into a small block. Even the pan rails had to be notched to clear the rods

The problem with it now is that the rods are hitting the cam lobes. Since we really cant grind away on either we are hoping that either a reduced base circle or less radical cam will solve that problem.

not really worth it on honda's man, you're better off getting oversized pistons, that will increase tq quite a bit.

Oh come on, this is all the space you need between cylinders

little bit more to it then just slapping the head on the block..

and for a honda i dunno how much it would really help, i know on my car, going from a 350 to 383, id pick up like a good 100rwhp..of course, thatd be low comp pistons, forged bottom end, crazy cam, and more boost.

Like I said, I dont know myself, and it does vary. I believe bolting a 2JZ shortblock to a 1JZ head is all it takes though. 2.5 --> 3.0
