Default Nitrous Intercooler Sprayer
ok so is it worth it? Some people say yes, some say no.....Im talking about putting a nitrous intercooler sprayer on my intercooler to cool it off....is it worth it?

Sprayin nitrous onto the itnercooler is kind of stupid, why not just spray it into intake track somewhere? If your talking about using co2 to cool the intercooler while racing, then yes .. that's worth it.

dont think you need n20 to cool it. joe (slowy) sprays alcohol on his, just rerouted the hose from the windshield washer resivoir to the ic. he may be able to help ya out if u wanna ask him if he noticed anything

you might wanna check into what an intercooler REALLY does.. and what specific heat is..

you'll then find a decent water setup with a little alcohol added will be much better.

those things are a gimmick and a waste of money right up there with turbo timers.

Screw that just run an alki setup on your car. Nothing beats having intake temps so low it can cause condensation in the runners.

Hit it with some water/alchy since the heat exchange on water is far greater. And if this is for street use I am not sure I would waste the time for the small gain.

ok well thanks so much guys, but what about this alcohol setup, and i spraying the alc into the intercooler or on the intercooler......what kinda alc.....please further explain.....thanks and sorry for sounding so noobish.......

Alcohol injection. Spray it in the IC piping right before the throttle body. If you would like some more info PM me.

You gain more from the no2 going past your intercooler and into the inlet on the turbo. So, you might as well just spray into the piping or the alcohol/water setup.

A fellow member has ran both alky injection and then switched to nitrous.The nitrous gave him better intake temps and even made 3-4 lbs more of boost on only a 50 dry shot.Try both.
