g35 > 350z left right and center

 

well too bad the g35 and the z are right around the same price... i paid 30 for mine cash, and my friend has a g35 and he paid 32 cash not really that big of a price diffrence, and if you look at the the roadster which i think is fugly then the starting price is 40....

I dont really care much abotu the performance numbers of the 2.. Personally I think that the S2000 is just more fun to drive to me, it feels really good to shift at 9Krpm's and have a soft top...

 

Sure.... Just an intake here also. I'm out most Saturday nights although I won't be out this weekend but should definitely be out the following. I'm probably going to be the only Red S2k out at the usual bridge spots.....

Another S2000 owner here. Just like everyone else has said, if you want only straight line performance stay with your Lightning. I would say the 350Z and S2000 (both stock) is a driver's race in a straight line. Once you hit the track there is no question that the S2000 will take it. And that is what the S2000 is, a track car. Straight line performance is pretty good and if you have the money you can get as much as 400 RWHP+ with some of the new turbo kits coming out. For me it just came down to the fun factor. I just don't know what it is, the handling, the 9K redline, or what, but this car is a blast to drive, even when I am making a quick grocery run, I just love driving it. Also the car has an awesome design, one of the best designed cars, IMHO. Although, if you are thinking of picking one up, I would get a 2002+ model, since they updated the ECU and added some other nice features, like the glass rear window (00-01 has a plastic one).

wow...really appreciate you S2K guys posting! I am (and have been) putting my $$ aside. 350Z, G35, S2K all on the list. But it has really been the S2K at heart. S2K! S2K!! Go get it!
