well the reason yall havent gotten tickets is because u are domestics and cops these days grew up taught to love those cars, so when they see a civic with exhaust, that might not be nearly as loud as ur mustang or camaro they profile...I agree with giving loud ass ricers tickets for there exhaust but the people who buy exhausts that large companies spend many a hours of r & d on to make sure it isnt loud while flowing well isnt fair...And believe me it is because the cops are profiling plain and simple, but it is at the officers descretion to give a ticket and pretty much sums it up, discretion....he decides to give import guy ticket not domestic...thanx

Actually, the exhaust only has to be modified. It can NOT deviate anything from stock by law.

I do think they should crack down on the Harleys though. The imports exhaust doesnt bother me at all, doesnt sound good to me, but that my opinion. Now the Harleys.... Ive seen an unusual amount of bikes these last couple of days and I heard some harleys around that would make your ear drums bleed. I heard them well over 1/2 mile away.... That should be a ticket, but they never get anything

 

I don't care cause my exhaust is stock, and will probably stay stock. But I do think it's fucked up that most domestics with mods are overlooked even though their exhaust will overpower my radio and my conversation with a passenger, and yet someone with a nicely tuned 240, WRX, Integra, or what have you (not including coffee can grapefruit shooter riced out pieces of shit) will get pulled over for an exhaust that is "louder than stock". Double standards are for fags.

I hope it about the Harleys and not about us domestics getting "special treatment" lol
