(yes, even new cars....since 1999, I have owned 4 new cars). I don't care about this issue, all I cared about was sitting in hour long traffic jams heading to and from work. If you haven't noticed, I don't race anymore.

My buddy has an '03 G35 Coupe. Very nice car, interior is sweet except for the fake aluminum plastic trim that scratches easily. No balls down low, but pulls nicely up top.
The Mustang is too retro. If I wanted a '67 Mustang, I'd go out and get one. But I think it's V8 will have more potential, and any Cobra version would kick the G35's ass unless the Skyline version of the G35 ever makes it to the States.
My vote.....G35.

Also forgot to mention, since reliability became an issue, is that my friend's G35 has only 25K miles and it's 5th gear grinds everytime he shifts into it. It annoys him so much that he just skips 5th altogether and goes from 4th to 6th. My other friend has an '03 350Z whose 3rd gear did the same thing but it went away. And you can't use the "they're built in America now" excuse either.
I know the T45 in the current Mustang GT's are weak, but that T56 in the Cobra is way stouter then that jumble of metal they place behind that VQ motor. But my vote still goes to the G35 on looks alone.

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.
