Imports break too
Next time you see Luke, ask how long his tranny lasted in his brand new Acura TL

Ron, I know you posted in there, just wanted to remind you. I like your take on it "well those cars weren't built in Japan". Doesn't matter Ron, Honda is responsible for quality control just like Ford, GM and everyone else when they outsource. If I bought the most reliable car in the world and my tranny went out, where the tranny was made wouldn't be a very good excuse

On a side note did you know that all of these problems that honda had was with cars made in America not Japan.

Actually they had problems with those transmissions, it's talked about in the thread I just showed you. If I beat on my car and something breaks, it's because it's domestic. If someone buys a brand new cobra, beats on it and breaks something, it's because it's domestic, so why is that a fair thing to say about an Acura? You said the G35 will outlast the mustang period, you didn't say a thing about how they are driven. I wish you could see some of the older japanese cars I see at the auctions, then maybe you would understand why I get so bent out of shape with the domestic bashing. Cars break, that's what they do, cars get old and wear out, that's the other thing they do. Somewhere in between all the breaking and wearing out, we get to drive them and enjoy them.

. I will never know how well built the new Domestics are because i cant see myself buying one. I personally like Japanese cars. I must admit i'm pissed that the headers cracked and i have burned 2 O2 sensors out in my 2000 Toyota Tundra. On the other hand Corey has a Ford F150 with Simalar milage and year and he has had to replace alot of wornout and broken parts. To each there own.
amazing....
all I asked was which would you choose...and all of a sudden, it became a "Reliability" issue? Anybody that knows me knows I don't kepp cars for more than 2 years. (yes, even new cars....since 1999, I have owned 4 new cars). I don't care about this issue, all I cared about was sitting in hour long traffic jams heading to and from work. If you haven't noticed, I don't race anymore.
