short fabricating question
hey, i'm going to punch myself because this is so retarded, but i'm looking at a porsche 928s(great condition good car) and I drive a 944 n/a now, the only real thing that bothers me is the E-brake being on the left by the door.
My question is, Would if be possible to take an ebrake shift it from the left side to the right side? Is there something impossible about this? Its just incredibly annoying because there is no possibility of pulling the ebrake and steer.

its possible of course...maybe if you got under the floor and connected it to one on the right via some metal rod, it may work

And why would you want to do that?

well, its safety, drifting turns on advanced tracks since thats what i am wanting to do with this car. Also if you have to pull the ebrake with the door shut you hit your hands, and when you put it down your hit your knuckles. Its just a shitty spot.

If you want to drift the proper way would be to get a RWD car with enough power to break the rear tires loose in the first place. Instead of trying to slide around using the parking brake on the driven wheels or is it FWD?
Porsche makes FWD? dont think so

Actualy, the 928 is a RWD 8 cylinder(only one porsche makes infact). The model I want is STOCK, 234 hp. And I could spin the tires, but for drifting(as a beginner) you pull SLIGHTLY on the ebrake for less than a second and drop it to shift the weight. Yes there are power overs and shift lock drifts(these are more advanced) , but the ebrake is used just as well.
Regardless I'm not gonna argue about technique, I am just wanting to know if it is possible from a fabricating stand point. I won't claim to know much about cars, thats why I enlist here.
Thanks!

The handbrake is simply a lever connected to some steel braided line. You could put the damned thing in the glovebox if so inclined. Only issues you'll run into is cable length, fabrication, and ensuring that the cable runs snag free.
