Default K&N oil filters

Anyone use them or know anyone that does? Are the worth they extra couple bucks? I believe they have them for $10 at discount.

Their air filters have been around forever, very trusted. Everyone has one. Not so sure on oil filters though, I'd like to know the same.

I love their oil filters just for the 1-inch nut on the bottom. Much easier to put a ratchet/wrench to the filter than a bulky filter wrench if the sucker gets stuck on there.

I hand tighten and loosen my filters. Unless you get oil on the filter, it's not that hard to remove. Or use a screwdriver.

The screwdriver is the most fun, of course.

k@n is very good. also I heard that motorcrap (ford) is good to also... FRAM SUCKS!!

For $10 I'd go with amsoil, much better filter.

This filter appears to flow well and have average filtration


Amsoil:

This filter appears to have very good filtration media and very good flow.

I don't, I order them from amsoils website. They proccess your order fast, and I order them before I need them so I have 'em ready (IE, if you're changing your oil this weekend, order one now :lol )
