I thought this was an automotive forum. The first question I need to ask you is: Do you have custom mandrel bent exhaust from cat all the way back? If you have stock crushed bend piping that's your problem. It's the crushed bends that cause that raspy pissed off bumble-bee sound. You can go with any test pipe, gutted cat, stock cat, whatever, and still have crap for an exhaust tone. Ask some people on the board, or in H/A Tech and find out who has mandrel or crush bends, and ask which sounds better. Hope that helps.

I can't imagine crushed bends make that big a difference. My friend had full greddy with a test pipe and that rasp sound came through.
