Default I need info on painting engine bays..

Heres my options,
I ned to get the car done kinda in a hurry but not sure when my painter can get to it..

Also im not really sure what color im painting the body,so heres the options..

Should I?...
paint it flat black? and Im guessing this comes off easy when cleanign engine bay? (spray can)

or high temp gloss black (spray can)

or undercoating.. I hope the heat dont keep this wet...

Just wondering how the outcome will be,the car is a unibody (first gen RX7) metal wheel wells engine ebay side..

Any info will be good please..

It kind of a hit or miss thing. The heat can make it brittle and prone to cracking off and making a mess in the process. I don't know enough different examples to make a definative conclusion, yet i can tell you the guy i bought my car from had some of the bay done. Not a good experience.

Just go with a smooth finish in the bay.

i'd go with high temp flat black. they have special spray paint for engines, people use it to paint everything from engine blocks to brake calipers and it can withstand the high temp in your engine bay.
