They are currently working on a Miata right now and for the 1st time, they are Truely hooking this guy up with:

Tein EDFC fully adjustable suspension
ACT clutch
Rollcage
BRP Supercharger
Full stainless steel exhaust
Big brake kit
OZ wheels w toyo tires
custom guages


not your usual riced out ride from them

the show is ok, 1 out of 10 times, but most of it is all rice....

 

I didn't approve of the CRX they did. The gauges ruined it, as did the big wheels.

 

I HATE THAT SHOW

 

The did some nice upgrades on the blue Skittle they worked on too. It dynod 375 HP @ 16psi and pump if I remember correctly.

 

I like the parts they put on the car, but they were trying to make it an autox machine. The EDFC puts the car in a class where it is not competitive and road race tires take too long to warm up for autox. They didn't put any padding on the rollbar, I hope the guy doesn't get in an accident.

 

I saw that episode last night. It was pretty good/okay, they ended up spending about 3x more then they wanted though

I have a problem with the cosmetics guy. Hes the riceyest guy there, and he's like "A guy drive this? Ovaries? Balls? Testicles! Testastrone!" I'm a guy and I'd be proud to drive a Miata...a small light RWD car...come on wtf...

 

I truely hate the cosmetics guy.... Where did they get him from?? He is such a dork.... his nickname should be uncle BEN with all of the freakin' Rice he likes to add ... Always with his gay ass vinyl graphics, obnoxious comments, fiberglass mania and just overall stupid ideas.. I remember that one episode where he wanted to put flames on the Scion and the actual Vinyl provider told him his idea sucked... LOL.. Anyways, i just had to vent about him since it was brought up

 

HAHA! I remember that! He tried to give it to him subtly "yeah...it just doesnt look good...this isnt want I wanted it to be...naw.."

Of the three people on that show...the COSMETIC guy has to be the one I think Johnny B or whoever that Asian guy that does the powertrain is the coolest. He actually goes around and researches stuff and is overall smartest. Suspension guy...he's just like "oh yeah, we'll throw in some Tein coilovers...or something...lower it...hey guy do you think those rims would be good lowered?"
