this thread started out TEARING that guy and the Z in general apart. I mean, the guy and his car were getting lambasted! you wanna talk about opinionated!

I wasn't going to stand by and watch that. I think my posts were pretty good and I tried to offer facts as much as possible to back me up, including the guy trashing the RB engine and Nissans success in the JGTCC.

I guess this whole debate around the Z32 can be narrowed down to taste. Seems ppl either love or hate it.

^^ very true... it all depends on the persons taste... i personally like them and think that they can be made fast... the fact that they have a cramped engine space does not bother me one bit... ill put the extra effort into something if i like it and think that it would be worth it and it would be worth it to me... other ppl might not want to go through all that and they would stick with something else... and their choices might not be mine but im not gonna talk shit about them and their car... theres no use in bashing other ppls opinions b/c a thread like that would go on forever... the guy asked for opinions on what ppl thought of his car... not if they thought that he could pilot it to a 12 sec 1/4 mile, if it could be made fast, or if it was a better engine or platform to work with than all other cars on the planet... you guys have totally jacked this kids thread... i say we get back to the original question which is- what do you guys think of his car... is it a good platform to start with and modify? not if it is the best platform to modify... dont bash him and tell him that its a POS... just tell him its not your taste... and i think that everyone else should let those who dont like the car have their opinions... *steps off the soap box*...

Id like to see a stock skittle at 300hp? and i would compare the supra and the 300zx anyday. and all you crx guys are really funny.. Nice car btw, if the owner before you put those rims on that car i really doubt anything is done to the engine. it would be worthless to make the car go faster then put 1000lb rims on that car....

 

ZR-1s are cool too, I just mostly was refering to the bodystyling of teh ZO6. If I could I wouldnt mind having a ZR-1 engine in a C5 body.

Eat my words? Where the hell did I say the Volta wouldnt be a success? Just because they might not sell many doesnt mean it's a failure. Keep in mind that not everyone has that kind of money to buy one, and thus they arent going to mass produce them like they do Camrys and Corollas. If anything I support the Volta. If you think I hate anything Toyota related besides the 3UZ or whatever the 3.3 V6, then you apparently havent read the thread talking about what kind of tattoo I'd get if I got one.

It all comes down to taste. Compared to everyone else, I have none. How many other people here like the DeLorean or would like the idea of a gullwing Mk3?

Also, I and many Mk3 Supra owners do compare the 3OOZX TT to the Supra, because they are like competitors. Remember ricers, they DID make Supras before 93!
