if it has a warranty, let the dealership do it. and if it doesnt, check with a service center (dealership) to be sure there isnt a bulletin out on it for replacement.

get water pump gasket maker and apply it to both sides of the gasket. i have never had one leak that i installed this way. don't use regular gasket maker though.

ok the water pump and thermostat have been replaced and the car still runs at 220 degrees.i can grab the lower radiator hose and can squeeze it together. it should be full of coolant right.i let the car idle for the fan to cycle through twice and its still rinning hot.anyone have any ideas.

Put some water wetter in and see if that helps, if it's not leaking Could also be your radiator cap letting the pressure out come to think of it.

i put black RTV silicon on mine.

let the car warm up and keep the cap off so you can keep on filling it till its at the top.

make sure you have no leaks also.

and make sure you put the THERMOSTAT IN FACING THE RIGHT DIRECTION!!!!!!!!!! that could very well be your problem if its still running really hot

i know its dumb, but i myself have accidentetly done it once. i admit it. tired and pissed, put it in backwards.

noticed when the car ran really hot when test driving it.
