this is very true....i originally had a profec-b spec-ii and i absolutely hated that thing, not user friendly at all... 90% of the gainesville supra guys run MBC's and they convinced me into switching... so here i am.... all i want to do is be able to run consistant boost with no fluctuations...ho hum

I ran a MBC on the porsche for years and it worked just fine. It was also a knob adjustable regulator plumbed into the cockpit so I could change my boost while on the move.

I am replacing it with an HKS EVC IV when I put the car back together since I would prefer to hit a button for a one minute scramble instead of reaching under the dash to count off wheel turns on the regulator when I want to bump the boost.

If anyone wants to buy my cockpit adjustable MBC its for sale. All I have to do is remove it from the 930.

fuck, where was I, i liked my AVC-r in my WRX MUCH better than the Profec B spec 2!!! that fucking thing was a pain in my ass. one week it worked properly, the next, NOPE. fuckin Greddy crap. who am i kidding, greddy 3 row, race ti exhaust, BCC and my SECOND blown up greddy type S bov... damnit

I'm not an EBC hater, I Just think its foolish to call MBC's finicky or untrustworthy.
