Tonight my dad let me take his 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera out for a spin by myself. Its a great car with great handling and great low end torque. As many of you know,or dont know, I drive a WRX. I love my car and tonight I love it even more. The Porsche is a stiff ride with lots of work. Hard clutch, and a hard acceleration pedal. I know it thats how its supposed to be is stiff, but honestly 9 times out of 10 I would want to drive my car over the Porsche any day.

My car is stock except for catback exhaust and a BOV, but in all truth the WRX would have the porsche through 1st and 2nd gear. Now I know the Porsche would SMOKE it top end but for a car costing almost costing $100k its should beat the WRX in every gear.

So the point of this post is to tell everyone how awsome the WRX is. Great handling,great comfterable (sp) seats, and great pickup. If your are considering ever purchasing a WRX go for it, you will never regret it.SUBARU FOR LIFE

Alos, I have never drivin a STi but I can only imagine it would be 2 times better than the wrx

Who cares what "sounds" better.....if he likes his WRX better....more power to him......not everyone is impressed by a nameplate and a price tag.

Ya a good friend of mine has 2 Boxter S's and there fun to drive. They definately have there Porsche appeal. Nothing like cruising clearwater on a friday night with the top down! But they are not all there played out to be.

 

Drive both at Sebring and then come to the same conclusion - I dare you...
