Default electronic turbo

i wouldn't think an electric fan motor would be able to produce any extra hp http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

It gave a list of the volume of air a turbo typically makes...How can something be typical with boost levels varying, your foot varying its pressure and diffrent sized housings and turbines... That shit is soooo retarded...I hope no one buys those. Then again it'd be funny to see ricers riding around with them thinking they actually have anything over .5 hp gain

You;re all wrong. What would be better than an electric turbo? There is no loss what so ever. I have it on my Kia and it works. I haven't dynoed it but I must of gotten at least 10 hp.

i'm sure it's shit, but the idea is physically possible. if the electric motor could generate between 150,000 to 200,000 rpm and it had the proper impellors and housing i don't see why it wouldn't work. but i doubt this is capable.

and epicman- i hope you're joking first off. second, there would be power loss, just like when you turn on your A/C. the engine generates the electricity that the "turbo" uses.

To work an electric supercharger would need to draw several thousand watts.

Just imagine the extra battery capacity one would need to pull it off.
